In additional to RUG LL' summer league, which runs on weeknights from July 8th to August 8th, here are some other opportunities for you to consider:
Baseball Positive 15th Annual Summer Sandlot Camps (with Games)

Spring Baseball Clinics by Local High School Teams
Throughout the spring, local high school baseball teams offer clinic to youth players. Check out the following opportunities:
Ingraham High School
- Spring Break Camp from April 8 to 12, 8am to 12pm with Varsity Head Coach, Tim Lee
- Camp includes skills, drills, and games with high school players and coaches.

Lincoln High School
- Sunday, April 21st, 12pm to 3pm = Lincoln High School Baseball Clinic for ages 8-14.
- Cost = $60 (fundraiser for Lincoln High School team).

Winter Break Holiday Training at The Hive
Northwest Sting operates an indoor baseball/softball training facility in Interbay and is offering a special holiday membership for $35 from December 17 through January 2. The membership includes unlimited holiday access to their indoors facility which offers batting cages, space to throw/catch/pitch, etc. Register at this link. Keep your skills sharp in the off-season! Several winter training opportunities through RUG's partnership with BASE by Pros in Lynnwood or other local organizations will be offered in the fall
Emeralds Winter Training - Open to RUG Players ages 8-14
RUG Little League has partnered with BASE by Pros to offer a 10-week winter training program for softball and baseball players. Softball players train on Saturdays and baseball on Sundays. The program runs from December through February. Registration is now closed. Contact [email protected] to inquire if your player is interested in joining mid-session.
Video Training by Local Experts
Ray Atkinson is the head baseball coach at Lincoln High school in Seattle and led the varsity team to a 3A state championship in 2023. Ray was a three-sport athlete at Lincoln from 1979 to 1981 and went on to play baseball at Lewis-Clark State College, and became a NAIA College World Series champion in 1987. Ray has been involved with youth baseball for over 25 years.
Danielle Lawrie pitched at the University of Washington and was named Most Outstanding Player for the championship team that won the 2009 Women's College World Series. She's an Olympian, professional softball pitcher, and current sports commentator. With the Canada women's national softball team, she won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Bill Krueger is a former Mariners pitcher and played in the MLB from 1983 to 1995. Bill played for the Athletics, Dodgers, Brewers, Mariners (twice), Twins, Expos, Tigers, and Padres throughout his career. Today, Bill is a senior baseball analyst for Root Sports NW, covering the Seattle Mariners.
