The Information Officer or Officers are responsibile for creating an maintaining technological resources to aid the league in communication and information gathering tasks. They should continually strive to find better and easier ways to maintain league information and to distribute it.
Manage the league’s official website at
www.rugll.org. Manage any mailing lists and e-mail aliases.
Provide for and manage the online registration process with the league Registrar and Treasurer.
Ensure that league rosters are maintained on the site and are accessible as policy dictates.
Assign administrative rights on the website to league volunteers and teams.
Ensure that league news and scores are able to be updated on a regular basis.
Ensure that important information on League activities are able to be posted on the website and widely distributed to league membership.
Serve as primary contact person for Little League and the website host regarding optimizing use of the Internet for league administration
Shares information about additional technological capabilities that can enhance league activies or provide better methods for a board member to complete their own tasks.
